Learn to understand, speak, read and write English through two different programs offered at Loyola: English as a Second Language (ESL) and Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC)!

- Transportation and childcare assistance for those who qualify (LINC Program)

English as a Second Language classes are free of charge for:
- Naturalized Canadian Citizens
- Live-in caregivers
- Approved Permanent Residents
- Refugee Claimants
- Protected persons or persons in Canada whose applications for Permanent Resident status are being processed in Canada and who have been informed by a letter from Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada - IRCC of the initial approval of their application subject to an admissibility assessment.
Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada classes are free of charge for:
- Permanent Residents
- Convention Refugees
- Protected persons or persons in Canada whose applications for Permanent Resident status are being processed in Canada and who have been informed by a letter from CIC of the initial approval of their application subject to an admissibility assessment.
